Apple’s Far Out event is just a day away, and anticipation for the iPhone 14 series is at an all-time high. Along with the iPhone 14, Apple is expected to unveil the Apple Watch Series 8, AirPods Pro 2, and other products at the Far Out event on September 7. With only one day until the event, here’s what to expect from Apple’s ‘Far Out’ event.
APPLE IPHONE 14 SERIES
The most talked about launch during the September 7 event is the next-generation iPhone. Along with the iPhone 14 series, Apple will discontinue the iPhone mini and the iPhone 14 series will include the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Max, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max. The biggest change that is being reported this year will be with the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max. Both the high-end iPhones are said to come with a new design that will remove the long-standing notch, in favor of a pill-shaped hole-punch cutout at the top. The Apple iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max are also expected to include Apple’s new A16 Bionic chip, while the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max is expected to include a more powerful version of last year’s A15 Bionic chip, which powers the iPhone 13 series.
The iPhone 14 series is also said to include an improved telephoto lens, which enhances or brings astrophotography to the iPhone 14 model. Furthermore, Apple is rumored to include satellite connectivity in the iPhone 14 series and will eventually bring an always-on display to the iPhone. APPLE WATCH SERIES 8
Apple launches the Apple Watch every year along with the iPhones. According to rumors, this year the company will launch the Apple Watch Series 8 along with two more Apple Watch models. The Apple Watch Series 8 is said to come with several new health features, and some reports even mention that the smartwatch may come with a new design that will completely revamp the Apple Watch. In terms of sensors, the Apple Watch Series 8 will come with the same sensor as the Apple Watch Series 7.
There are also rumors of the Apple Watch Pro, said to be a new beefed-up version of the Apple Watch. The Apple Watch Pro is said to come with a bigger display, which is said to be about 7 percent bigger than the current size. The Apple Watch Pro is expected to come in a titanium design. Apple is also expected to bring a new Apple Watch SE model with the Series 8 this year.
AIRPODS PRO 2
There are also a lot of rumors of Apple’s next-generation AirPods Pro arriving this year. Apple AirPods Pro 2 will come with many similarities with the first generation but may come with an upgraded chip, which will help towards better audio quality. It is not known whether the Apple AirPods Pro 2 will come with a new design, or retain the old design that was launched in 2019.
10TH GEN APPLE IPAD
The entry-level Apple iPad is also set to see a refresh during the Apple iPhone 14 launch event. The iPad 10th generation may come with a bigger display than the current 10.2-inch size. The new iPad is rumored to have a similar design to the iPad Air and iPad Pro with thinner bezels and Touch ID integrated into the power button.
