How To Enable Black And White Always-On-Display on iPhone 14 Pro
Black And White Always-On-Display on iPhone: Apple finally launched Always-On-Display with iPhone 14 series. But as we expect from Apple, they launched it in a different way. The iPhone’s always-on-display is similar to that of the Apple Watch, showing off the wallpaper and most of the things you see on a regular lock screen. It’s just that the screen is dim. And because of that, it drains lots of battery in comparison to android’s AOD. On Android phones, you see a black and white AOD it shows the clock and some useful information and saves battery too. How to turn on the darker AOD on iPhone 14 Pro
Unfortunately, Apple hasn’t given us many features to customize AOD, but there’s a trick that you can follow to get the same Always-On-Display as Android (Dark). Follow these steps:-
Step 1: Open Settings on your iPhone 14 Pro/iPhone 14 Pro Max
Step 2: Scroll below and look for Focus and tap on it.
Step 3: Now, tap on Options.
Step 4: Scroll below and tap on Dim Lock Screen.
After following these steps you will be able to enable darker AOD on iPhone 14/Pro. Now, whenever you turn on Focus Mode on your iPhone, the Dim Lock Screen feature will automatically turn on to make your screen darker. And, now that your iPhone 14 Pro goes into AOD mode, you will see the Black and White lock screen. Also read: How To Use 2 WhatsApp Accounts On One iPhone
After toggling this setting on, your iPhone 14 Pro’s lock screen will go completely dark, similar to Android’s always-on-display. Now you’ll see the date and time and some widgets if you put them on the lock screen.
Using this feature, you definitely get a darker always-on-display, but unfortunately, that’s only in focus mode, it will not work if you are not in Focus Mode.
