Are you in a situation where you can’t hear sound while watching the video because of noise or you don’t want that anyone to hear what are you watching? If yes, then you might appreciate the new live captions feature of iOS 16.
No matter how much you know about your Apple iPhone, there will always be something hidden out there that will surprise you. Over the years, with each iOS update, iPhones have come a long way with new features, user experience, and accessibility. In fact, Apple keeps filling iPhones with new features to make your daily tasks easier. And with the latest iOS 16 announcement, Apple has come up with exciting new features to make the user’s experience even better.
One such interesting feature is LIVE Captions. This can be a very useful tool when watching videos on your iPhone. It basically uses the intelligence of the iPhone to auto-generate the caption or in other words, transcribe the audio or video playing on your iPhone’s screen. But you need to note that your iPhone, whether it is the latest iPhone 13, iPhone 12, iPhone 11, iPhone SE 3, or other supported models, must be running on the iOS 16 public beta version.
How to Enable Live Captions on iPhone
Step 1: Open the “Settings” app on your iPhone
Step 2: Scroll down and tap on “Accessibility“
Step 3: After that scroll down to the “Hearing” option and tap on that
Step 4: Toggle on Live captions to enable the feature
Step 5: And, that’s it the Live Caption feature is enabled.
