Call of Duty: Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2’s social menu appears to be broken on launch day for the battle royale sequel. Players are reporting that clicking the Social button on Call of Duty’s main menu currently takes players back to the main menu, preventing them from viewing their friend list or creating groups.
Worry not, because Reddit user Netoxicky found a fix for that issue you have to just follow some simple steps.
How to invite friends in Warzone 2?
Step 1: Click on the Channels button in the upper right of Call of Duty’s main menu (it’s the headphones icon)
Step 2: By default, you’ll see an existing channel for your party at the top. Click it, then select “Invite to channel”
Step 3: You’ll be taken to a friends list. Select who you’d like to invite and hit send
If for some reason you don’t see an existing party channel at the top, you can also create a new channel, name it whatever you want, and invite friends to it. It’s actually a roundabout way of inviting friends to a party, but until this pesky social menu bug is fixed, it seems to be our only option. According to the official Warzone 2 Trello board (Opens in new tab), the developers are aware of the problem and are “investigating” a fix.
That’s how you can fix this issue if it helped you then share it with your friends and if you still have any issues comment down below or you can wait for the update. Developers are working on this.
