Leaked iPhone SE 4 Renders Hint At An iPhone XR-Inspired Design
With Apple recently launching the high-end iPhone 14 series, it seems like the time has come for the new cheap iPhone we hear about, called the iPhone SE 4. The next-generation iPhone SE has been in the news lately and its renders have now surfaced, which seem to confirm the iPhone XR-like design. Have a look.
This Could Be the iPhone SE 4!
Renowned leaker John Prosser recently revealed the iPhone SE 4, which surprisingly looks like the 2018 iPhone XR. This is something we’ve been hearing for months and the processor just confirmed it. To recall, a recent rumor suggested that the new iPhone SE would come with a bigger display and a notch.
While it appears to be a fresh addition to the SE lineup, considering that it is getting a facelift, not everyone would agree to it as it is an outdated design from which we have all moved on. But then, with Dynamic Island in the picture, Apple’s plan to keep the notch for its affordable iPhone SE series seems like an option it would consider.
The Prosser also revealed that the iPhone SE 4 will come in Midnight, Starlight, and RED colorways. You can watch the video below for a better idea.
In terms of specs, we expect the phone to be similar to the iPhone XR, but with a few upgrades. The Prosser hints at the inclusion of the A16 Bionic chipset. There is also a 6.1-inch display and 5G support. As for the rear camera, we can also expect a single 12MP camera. A long-lasting battery could also be part of the package, as it was the highlight of the iPhone XR.
While we don’t know when the iPhone SE 4 will arrive, it is expected in early 2023. Earlier, we had learned that this could happen in 2024. We are still waiting for more concrete details on this, so, it is best to wait. In the meantime, share your thoughts on the next iPhone SE adopting the XR design in the comments below.
