WhatsApp now allows you to message yourself
Texting yourself on the messaging platform is one of the most convenient ways to save web URLs you want to revisit, take notes or save other things. Platforms like Slack have a dedicated space to message themselves and Telegram lets you save messages for later, but now WhatsApp is working on it. The meta-owned platform now allows users to send themselves messages.
WhatsApp: Message Yourself
In late October, we noticed that WhatsApp has a way to start a new conversation with yourself on select beta testing apps. WABetaInfo now reports that the feature is rolling out widely on iOS with version 22.23.74 of the app. We are also seeing this on many of our Android devices after updating WhatsApp to version 2.22.2.3.77.
How to message yourself?
You can press the floating action button (FAB) for a new WhatsApp message in the lower right corner. A new option to message yourself should be pinned at the top of your contacts list. Reassuringly, WhatsApp says that this chat is end-to-end encrypted with you as well.
How to get this feature (message yourself) now?
If you don’t see that option then you have to wait for the new update. But you don’t want to wait for the wait you can still get this feature with this simple trick, just follow the steps given below
